It's Late....Should Be Sleeping..

Am loading in this old photo of Allie & I because Mother's Day was Sunday. I had a terrific Mother's Day. I spent most of it in bed researching genealogy on the internet. LOVE IT!
Visited 5 houses today for this summer. By the time I returned home, I was pooped, but the electrician was here to wire in the new heat pump for the back side of the house.
John & I have been really into movies lately...old movies. We have viewed some really great ones. Really enjoyed FAIR GAME.....
Am putting together a list of folks that would like to help with meals for the Scudder family when Alicia has her surgery. She has decided to have a double mastectomy ....coming up on May 18th.
Tomorrow will be a day spent at the computer.....it's late..NITE NITE

LOTS OF CATCHING UP TO DO!

The photo is of Allie and our newest little addtion, LOUIE. He's a little Yorkie that wandered into Alicia's yard just before we headed to England. We pursued all the avenues to finding an owner. Finally we had him "fixed" and he is ours. He is about 6 yrs old....vet said he's been wandering awhile. They had to pull one of his teeth because they were bad because of a terrible diet. WE LOVE HIM!

All of our British photos are at http://www.thepetersburgromaines.shutterfly.com .

Al spend the night THursday and we were up at 4am to watch THE WEDDING! Loved it!

One of our air conditioning units went kaput so men are coming today to install a new one....$$$$$$.

Al took her GRE tests for grad school...above average on verbal and writing...bombed the math....but good news....she emailed the head of the VCU History department and he said they ignore the math scores.....

So many tornados coming through the US....there is a farmer in Dinwiddie that is missing 15 of his cows after the big tornado last week.

Wish I could just spend time on genealogy....have been researching family lines for folks in England. JR & I have been watching movies in the evening....have seen some REALLY good ones. I have started crocheting again, so I hope to have several afghans ready by Christmas.

Things with the workcamp tshirts are a little slow, but coming along.

I know there are probably a billion more things to talk about now, but I must get started on REAL WORK!

P.S. OSAMA BIN LADEN was killed by the US military....then buried at sea.....much celebrating in the US....Iam feeling a sigh of relief, pride in our young men & women in uniform, but death is death to me....not a celebration...
